Kniteforce Radio Coming Soon…

Yes, we are doing a radio station. And here is a little sound clip thing I did for it:

And now I will attempt to answer your questions before you ask them:

“Why are you doing a radio station?”

Because I think it will be fun. It is something I have never done before, and there are remarkably few of those things left in the music industry. But also because we have so much good music coming out, and such a variety of artists on the labels…I think we can do something pretty unique. So I figure, lets give it a go!

“When will it go live?”

Soon. I can’t say when exactly, but we are integrating it into the current website and the current website is likely to need a few tweaks before we can get it all sorted. However, I have a new web designer who will be adding the radio station and the chat room, and fixing any issues that need to be fixed. But my guess? Maybe a month or two. I will keep you all updated!

“What will be the music policy?”

It will be like the labels in that the basic philosophy will be “Is it good? Then fine” lol. I hope to bring a really wide variety of music. Even just with the Kniteforce and KFA artists combined we can easily cover everything from trance and breaks and old skool hardcore and jungle through to the new old skool, modern hardcore, d’n’b, gabber and the rest. And just like with the labels, I will be giving the artists free range to do their thing how they see fit.

“Will you have other, non Kniteforce / KFA people playing?”

Yes. I am sure there will be a few spots open BUT right now we are still just sorting out who plays when etc etc so what is likely to happen is we will go live with only the KF artists and then add others. Once that is running smoothly, I will ask for demos to be sent in from Djs who would like a spot. Other than that, there are some very good Djs who I know of who will be approached directly by me as well.

“Will I be able to stream it through other apps etc?”

Nice one,

Hey guys, listen, to be perfectly honest, n ‘on the ball’..(which I get, u guys are into keeping shit real, or a voice of the many, n all that bullcrap(!?) I’ve gotta say, as a professional DJ/music maker/ lyricistz and pretty shit hot guitar man! (Even tho this is MY opinion(!!!) I was very disappointed with your people’s abhorant, ignorant n downright rude treatment towards a fellow musician, AKA DJ heighten, (or, Stevie uno to friends!) I mean, c’mon peeps, ain’t we s’posed to be above n beyond this petty bullying? Or, as is now termed ‘trolling’?? Listen guys, this is a gud pal of mine, currently goin thro trial n tribulation with his mother’s iminant departure from this mortal coil, if, you can’t find ANY words of support, then please, ffs, stop harassing the poor guy. He’s one of US man, who lives for his beats, n takes immense joy in entertaining masses, surely that’s our goddamn mantra innit!!?
All I ask, or expect, is to make friends, make music ,n occasionally twist a few melons maaan! Am I really broadcasting from a whole other planet ere??
Don’t Eva forget, this shits damn roots are buried deep in the peace, love, vibe, n respect for our fellow men. Sorry guys, I had to say my bit, DJ Highten is deffo one of the good guys, knowledgeable, experienced n connected. Not to mention , a very good friend n ally. An absolute credit to any group, or clique. Finally, I apologise,in earnest, if this note didn’t fully convey what I’m trying to say, just remember tho, words can cause more harm n distress than any bullet or missile available today, especially when they’re designed to touch a very personal subject at a specific time. Hope u find time, n compassion to read n absorb this note guys. Full power to you all n ur cause. 1luv.

I had no problem with High 10 until he threatened my friends on the radio and then left a comment threatening to kill one of them in the back of my book. If you would like to see it for yourself, feel free to fiund a copy of How To Squander Your Potential VIP and look it up. He might be your “good guys” but that shit was awful. So i totally agree that “words can cause more harm n distress than any bullet or missile available today, especially when they’re designed to touch a very personal subject at a specific time” as you said. And he did so in a deliberate and un-removable manner.

High 10 used words to cause harm. He is lucky we did not take it any further honestly, and put his very literal death threat in the hands of the police.

I have no personal problem with him, but he made himself unwelcome through his own actions and words. So thats that.

      Nice one,

      Chris / Luna-C
