Hey Everyone,
Just a quick post today, to let you know that Podcast eleven is now available to download. Podcast eleven is Idealz and me on the mix, taking half each as we didn’t have time to organize a back to back mix while he was here. I have saved Supaset nine for podcast twelve, because that has a nice synergy, what with podcast one being Supaset eight, and a whole year going by since then. Also, podcast twelve starts with a Hyper On Experience track for the last time. Podcast 13 will be all new and exciting lol
Other things to tell you…Pretty soon after I post this I will add the article I wrote for Core magazine on filesharing to the About section. The article is called “In Defense Of Filesharing” and may be of some interest to some of you!
I have been asked about when the Idealz tracks will be ready to download – the answer is as soon as I can, hopefully at the end of next week. Simply put, I am running at full speed right now, but I have a lot of things to deal with. The main one is that Bexxie and I are traveling to Raleigh in North Carolina tomorrow, signing the final papers on our new home on Wednesday, before traveling back to New Jersey on the Thursday. And the Monday after that, I am going to the dentist again. So my days are taken up. But like I said, by the end of next week, I should have all the tracks ready to go, and will be emailing all those people who donated, as well as adding clips etc to the website for those that missed out – or is that too mean? lol whatever, the tracks are on their way, just bear with me?
I will be asking you to do that a lot for the next few months. I am flying to the UK on the 22nd of October, then flying to Germany for the 24th, then flying back to the UK again to play Bang Face and Epidemik, before flying back to the USA on the 8th of November, at which point I will be dismantling the studio and packing up all our stuff for moving to our new home. As you can imagine, that is going to put a spanner in the works for all things music related. I don’t know how soon I will have the studio up and running again, but it leaves me about 3 weeks of music making left before the beginning of December, at the best. So I have already prepared Podcast 12, and that will go up end of October or first week in November. Other than that, I am just going to work away and get whatever I can get done, done. So yeah, if nothing much happens in the next few 6-8 weeks, you can be sure that actually, quite a lot is happening, and I will keep you updated as and when I can :o).
Lastly, I keep getting emails from people who are having trouble unzipping the files they download. This problem appears to be a PC problem. I am a Mac user, and can be of little help. All I know is, you need the correct operating system, and the right version of..err…Winamp? I think thats what it is called. If anyone out there is a PC user, has had that trouble, and fixed it themselves, can they email me a set of instructions I can send to people who email me with the problem? Because I simply don’t know how to use a PC, what to suggest, where they can download software or anything. I would appreciate it, and so would they :o)! Nice one people, speak to you soon!
