Today I have been going thru the site fixing and adding, as well as creating things to be added. So it may look like not much has changed today, but in fact quite a lot has.
I have added track lists to the mixes, as well as 2 mixes: Random Hardcore and Old Skool Euro. Random Hardcore may have been released as something else. I name things, then forget I named them, then call them something else, then years later discover a mix and think its a new thing lol. SO yeah, cant be helped. Likewise, the track lists for the Supasets. Sometimes there has been more than 1 tracklist, as I have renamed and rearranged tracks in the set. So the tracklists up right now were the ones I could find, and ones that were emailed to me – Nice one for that Mr Sommer!

So, I have added a few pics to the History section. I also added a copy of the post I made about Kniteforce revolution to the About Section. And the Podcast tracklists can be found there also. While searching for things on my hard drives today, I found all sorts of essays, interviews and writings that I will be adding to the About section. But I have to read through them first, and make sure they are relevant and written well enough.

We have added some sections in the Music area. “Other Peoples Remixes will be filled with other peoples remixes. I wont be putting up zips for these – I dont own the rights as they are other peoples remixes. I think I said other peoples remixes too many times ha ha. We also added “Produced At Kniteforce Studios” and again, I wont own the rights to those, so no zip files! Both of those sections are there for your interest more than any other reason.

Heres what I have fixed today:- KFSE03 zip now has the Megamix in it. Before, it had 2 copies of Future Primitive Infect Me (Luna-C Remix), only one of the copies was named The Megamix lol. This also seems to have happened with KF029, Dj Ham “Higher” is in there twice. Unfortunately, I am going to have to search for the master of that one and record it back into the system, as I dont seem to be able to find it on my hard drives right now. Once I have done that, I will the MP3 in the zip file, and let you know that it is done!

People asked about Dark & Light (Jimmy J & Cru-l-t Remix). Dark & Light is a remix I did for Dj Demand, and I don’t own the track, so it cant be given away by me, sorry. But I will add it to the “Remixes For Other People” Section as a soundclip. Thats the best I can do for that one.
I have added Monster 1, artwork and Zip. And I have reloaded KFLP004 as it was corrupt. I checked the file before uploading, and it was fine, so hopefully this will be okay now. Its a larger file than most because I have included the mixed version of that album, as well as the individual tracks and artwork!
Someone mentioned about the “Dubs” folder being empty. I didn’t really know what was meant – can anyone shed light on this?
Also, someone mentioned something about windows having trouble with some files that have a “:” in their name. I didn’t know there were any files with that in their name, but if you let me know which ones, I will try to change them. Some problems are hard for me to know about as I am a mac user and dont have a PC, and in truth, I cant account for all the problems windows have, sorry! Windows seems incomprehensible and complex to me, full of things like Vista that wont work with Office 1942 and etc. So I don’t know what goes on there. All I know is that incompatibility has an infinite amount of combinations, regardless of what computer you use lol. Anyway, I have reloaded the file after editing it, and it should work now!

We will be working on the download bar issue over the weekend, as well as adding various other things. Bexxie has added a favicon (look! its Bob in the address bar. Ahhhh, sweet!)

I have been asked to write a regular article of The Core magazine, which I am going to do. So thats a laugh, eh?

Whojamaflip have offered their catalogue to the site – so we are going to host those releases. I am in the process of uploading that, and adding it. I am looking to host other labels too. But i will be pretty careful about who goes on here – I don’t want to get into the situation MP3 stores do where they host a whole bunch of crap. One of the advantages of the free music thing is I can choose what goes on here based on what I think is good music. I don’t need to make a profit, and can turn down or accept simply on the basis of what’s good, in my opinion. In the future, I may have a section for tracks sent to me that I like. It would have a catchier name than “tracks that were sent to me that I like” though ;o)

Speaking of which, I have had a few dubs sent in for the next podcast – I have yet to go through them though…

I had a listen back to my Psycangle remix of My Angel and think it needs a re-eq, and maybe another days work. So thats why you haven’t seen the clips for KFA46 yet. Sorry – I know I promised them ages ago, but Wonter, Hattrixx and UFO’s remixes are so good, I have remix envy lol. So I need to have another look at the track before posting a clip!

I am glad people have donated – I wasn’t sure if people would. But we have had so many hits that I need to make our host unlimited, which costs more money. And its nice that it is being paid for by the people using the site, in effect! So a big thanks to all who have done so. And a gigantic hint to those that haven’t, ha ha ha! Nah, you know I am kidding. Many of you have given so much over the years that I feel humbled just to consider it! Nice one….

Okay, I am going to get back to it. Lots more to do. Lots more to add. My eyes are going square lol…
